Thanksgiving 2009

Hard to believe that Thanksgiving has come and gone and we've officially rung in the holiday season. How did this happen? What's more surprising is that I'm surprised every year...you'd think I'd catch on.

The Turners hosted Thanksgiving this year. Nice. Good food, good company...hey wait...I'm noticing a theme here.

Climb every mountain...

Arts & Crafts for Thanksgiving

One of the more brilliant things that happened on Thanksgiving was the construction of the gingerbread house. It gave Sophia a chance to flex her creative muscle while working off some energy. Here's the finished product, but see below for the step-by-step.

More doors!

Sophia kept asking for doors so Eric has more than one door on this gingerbread house. He even put 'doors' on the roof.

I love this dog

Meet Rosie, the littlest Turner. She's such a sweetie - she's great with the kids with a gentle dispostion. I could have snuck her home.

San Antonio '09 Tour

I just got back from a whirlwind trip to San Antonio. I went down for a seminar but had the pleasure of staying with good friends, Bev & Martin. I had such a great time!!!! I learned a lot about San Antonio, and got to see my friends in their element. I loved every minute of the trip and was sad to have to come back to Seattle. Here are the 3 of us on the first night of my trip. Take a peek at the pics below.

Lighting Fixture

Silly, I know, but I like this lighting fixture. The lights are suspended in wine bottles and then arranged in a chandelier like fashion.
