Climbing out of the winter doldrums...
After a very subdued winter break, I'm trying to make my way into January. Getting snowed in was fun on the first day, but after that, it was just a pain. I could have done without the snow, I guess. So what's there to look forward to?
1. Steve and Heidi had a baby boy; Van Stevenson joins big sister Sophia.
2. I go to San Francisco to meet with a colleague in February.
3. I leave for Hawaii in early March for a class trip.
4. I signed up for another half marathon (I always think this is a good idea until I'm actually doing the half marathon).
5. I have a trip planned for Victoria, BC in October.
Things are looking pretty good right now. Hope you had a wonderful start to 2009.
