So the vacation ended with a bittersweet day. Jarrod woke up early and headed out surfing with Dean. The rest of us stayed back at the hotel and took it easy. We checked out by noon and then headed over to the Windward side to hang out. We dropped off luggage and then went to the Windward Mall where we ate at ihop of all places. We returned to the house to spend the last few hours together. The last picture I have is of Jarrod showing me his sunburned legs. As Carolyn would say, "That's good sun."
