Today was one of those days that just make you smile. Maggie celebrated her 7th birthday - she got to invite 3 friends to a rollerskating party. I gotta tell you, that alone made me smile...well, laugh. There was nothing more enjoyable than watching those girls skate around the rink. After skating, we headed back to Maggie's house for pizza. There was the requisite present opening, and cake and ice cream. But more than that, we all got to hang out with friends, watch kids have fun, and wish that maybe we could have birthday parties like this. It's days like this that delight me in being a part of a child's life.
