A Halloween Visit

 

Maggie (my goddaughter) stopped by for a visit today. She was adorned in the cutest yellow dress a la Belle (of Beauty and the Beast). She got her treat bag, and (surprise) I got one, too. Well, I actually got mine, Eric's and Susan's. In the end, I emptied out the loot, ate what I wanted and re-distributed the goods. Unfortunately, I've consumed 6 sugar cookies and 2 candy bars.

Teresa had a small get-together tonight and as usual, she was the hostest-with-the-mostest. For dessert, she and Maggie whipped up some cream to top the pumpkin pie. Mmmmm.

So I was coming home last night and my neighbor scared the crap out of me as I was backing into my garage. Turns out he was headed to a Halloween Party in Seattle. Here is his devilish pose.

In other news, last night was movie night at John & Cindy's. We had a great dinner (brats, burgers, beans, artichoke dip, cake, beverages, etc.) and then saw 2 movies: Transformers and The Invisible. Transformers, by far, was the better movie. Loved it.

Family Time

Eat, Dance, Friends, Love

Al & Genie tied the knot! The ceremony was lovely (I forgot to take pictures - d'oh) and the reception following was superb. The food was excellent and the dancing was wild and crazy. See below for pictures of the reception.
